Schedule:

• From Monday to Friday
• 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift
• Weekends as needed

Pay Rate:

• The hourly wage for this position is $39.73 per hour. Benefits beginning 1st of the month following 60 days of employment include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Wellness Program
• Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
• $7000 Sign-on bonus

Responsibilities, and Duties:

• Responsible for machinery inspection, mechanical and electrical technical assistance, and maintenance and repair during assigned shifts
• Tests, installs, and repairs plant equipment and machinery
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections on equipment and machinery
• Conducts electrical inspection, repair, and troubleshooting on production and support equipment and plant power systems (PLC, I/O, electronics, motors, and instruments)
• Performs basic mechanical work, including sheet metal layout, fabrication, buildings and grounds maintenance, weights and scales calibration, welding, and pipefitting
• Documents work performed and communicates work activities to appropriate personnel
• Stays current on new equipment and updates to existing equipment by reading manuals, schematics, drawings, and relevant literature
• Provides on-call emergency repair service for all areas of the mill
• Utilizes fabrication shop process equipment such as drill press, hydraulic press, welder, band saw, sheet metal shear, metal brake, and milling machine
• Adheres to all applicable policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and GMP’s
• Works in various conditions, including moderate exposure to dusty and dirty work environments and seasonal weather extremes (both inside and outside).
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Works from ladders and elevated platforms, as well as climbing steps and crawling over, under, and into equipment as needed to perform job duties

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Industrial Maintenance experience: 5 years (required) with certification, 6 years without
• English (required)
• Mechanical Certificate (preferred)
• Electrical Certificate (preferred)
• Work Authorization (required)
• AM – Autonomous Maintenance Step 4 Sytems: 1 year (preferred)
• Progressive Maintenance Step 3: 1 year (preferred)
